Basin
The HOA Board President, Adam Hailey, and other community members have donated thousands of hours which has resulted in significant progress in meeting City of Fort Worth Code Compliance.
Concern with Vegetation
According to the code compliance, Fort Worth requires the HOA Board to have all vegetation removed from the flow line. In that area, the compliance officer explained that everything below the top of the concrete drains is to be removed.
Concern with Wildlife
The City of Fort Worth prioritizes the human community members’ public safety first through the mitigation of risk of flooding, erosion, and potential contamination of water.
Our Board wants to ensure the number one safety of you and your family.
Our HOA President Adam and the rest of the HOA board are ensuring that we can keep the Parks at Willow Ridge clean, safe, and well-managed.
Primary Goal
The primary goal of removing vegetation from the flow line as per the City of Fort Worth code is to ensure that water flow is not impeded during and after storms. Trees, bushes, plants, etc. can clog the channel and increase risks and dangers associated with flooding and erosion.
