The HOA Board is made up of resident volunteers who dedicate their time to support the neighborhood—reviewing issues, assisting with concerns, and communicating with residents as availability allows.

Our management company, First Service Residential (FSR), helps handle most day-to-day matters. Escalations are brought to the Board when needed.

While FSR and the Board do our best, we can't be everywhere at once. That’s why we rely on each of you to help keep our community safe, clean, and well-managed. If you see something, say something—your voice makes a difference.

  • I volunteered at the community’s request.  I’ve spent the last year learning from what we can do better as an organization, and I hope to be able to translate those skills to our neighborhood.

    Other accomplishments include flag poles at both entrances, speed bumps on Basket Willow, a community approved logo to name a few.

  • I’m here for you, the homeowners.  We may not always agree on every aspect of our community management, but I promise to always listen to your concerns. 

    The association should be in the business of maintaining community standards and solving residents’ problems to the fullest extent possible.  I view our board the same as the city council. 

    The council provides the vision, and the management company executes the vision.  And when residents are dissatisfied with management’s actions, bring the concerns to the board so that we can address them. 

    It is my hope to streamline processes beneficial to our homeowners and at the same time not burden our residents with over zealous regulations.

  • I was told that there was an opening for the Board due to a situation and community members were asked to apply. I was unaware of any surrounding drama. I can tell you that I didn't volunteer my time to be bullied and attacked on social simply for becoming a member dedicated to improving issues with the HOA.

    Having previously not been involved with the Board outside of attending community events, I asked Adam about the role. Adam really only shared that the HOA could use my skills and the HOA vision: a desire to make our community better by involving everyone.  That vision resonated deeply with me, and once I was voted in and read it myself, it confirmed why I wanted to serve.

    Our HOA’s vision spoke volumes: “To foster a community-first and financially responsible neighborhood where every resident feels engaged, involved, and invited.” I believe in “cultivating a sense of belonging” and “promoting a spirit of family and fellowship.”

    I joined the Board to help uphold this commitment—where our neighborhood isn’t just a place we live, but a place we’re proud to call home.

    Accountability & Management Oversight to ensure proactive measures are taken for our residents to receive timely service, fair compliance enforcement, and effective communication—while holding the management company accountable for meeting contractual expectations.

    • Identified multiple FSR management issues, including delayed responses, inadequate compliance reviews, mass communication failures, and poor ticket resolution.

    • Escalated concerns to FirstService Residential (FSR) leadership and requested an action plan with contract deliverable reviews.

    • Began collecting quotes from alternate management companies to ensure value and quality of service.

    Governance & Board efficiency activities to have clearer rules, future reduced legal expenses, and well-informed leadership transitions.

    • Added votes to help add majority voting to move along decision-making on Board escalations and maintenance

    • Added a checklist to improve onboarding for new Board members

    • Organized the HOA’s governing documents and CC&Rs into a structured spreadsheet to identify areas for amendments and opportunities to scale so we can reduce recurring legal costs.

    Community Maintenance & Amenity overview to ensure residents can expect well-managed, safe, and environmentally compliant common areas.

    • Conducted walkthroughs of the pool to understand Member at Large's responsibility in the event I needed to help, as all Board members often do

    • Conducted walk-through of the basin to understand compliance, safety, appearance, and environmental alignment with city codes.

    • Reviewed concerns regarding wildlife and natural habitat aesthetics as it pertains to the basin. Currently, City is following up with another department to explore alternatives to the current basin.

    Compliance & Transparency Tools so residents can benefit from communication oversight and gain accessible, clear guidance to stay in compliance and avoid unnecessary violation related fines.

    • Initiated the creation of a public compliance checklist to help homeowners understand expectations and avoid violations.

    • Updated the website to include a contact form to ensure FSR follows up and provides the Board visibility before escalation occur.

    • Planning to implement Microsoft 365 workflows to improve issue tracking and responsiveness in parallel with re-aligning FSR management with contractual expectations on resident responsiveness and resolutions.

    Community Engagement & Committee support to encourage the engagement of residents.

    • Support the annual candidacy process with plans to co-moderate the Board Q&A event, and assist with event logistics as needed.

    • Recently acquired oversight of the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) and am reviewing the draft policy to expand approval clarity beyond just fence staining (e.g., roof materials, exterior changes). The goal is to help ensure committee efforts for change are setup for success.

  • Hello Neighbors,

    My name is Jennifer Morphis, and I joined the Parks at Willow Ridge HOA Board on April 10, 2025. Though I’m new to the role, I wanted to share a bit about who I am and why I chose to serve.

    I moved to this community in the summer of 2022, drawn by the school district and a desire to provide the best opportunities for my two sons. My eldest, a senior, aspires to become a neurosurgeon, and my youngest is interested in biochemistry. As a single mom, I’ve always worked hard to equip them with the tools to succeed and give back to others.

    Giving back has always been a core part of my life. In my last two years of high school, I earned over 600 volunteer hours and graduated with both Honors and International Baccalaureate diplomas. I had many academic scholarship offers. I took one before deciding to serve in the U.S. Air Force. Even with a 24/7 on-call schedule, I made time to volunteer weekly in the communities where I was stationed. I received several awards for service and leadership during that time. I even received an achievement medal. 

    After the military, I pursued my education and began teaching classes on personal and professional development for military families. As a scout volunteer, I’ve served as a Cubmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, and District Chair. I’m currently a committee member with a local troop. 

    Community involvement and building life skills—especially for youth—are deeply important to me.

    Professionally, after the military, I obtained my top secret clearance where I focused on technology and supported over 100 military locations as a System Administrator. 

    I currently work in the tech industry with over a decade of experience leading large-scale, highly complex multi-million dollar projects for some of the largest Fortune 500 companies in the US. My role requires fast thinking, problem-solving, and strong attention to detail—skills I bring to the HOA Board as well.

    I chose this neighborhood intentionally. I still remember falling in love with the Pulte floor plan and being thrilled when I won the home lottery—even if I overpaid. I’m invested in this community not just financially, but emotionally. I want to help make it a safe, well-managed, and thriving place for my family and all of us.

    I believe in leading with integrity, listening openly, and doing my part to build a better community. My goal as a Board volunteer is to represent residents thoughtfully and contribute meaningfully to the place we all call home.
